Concept Design (Edge)

For my "edge" collage, I decided to focus on the feeling I get from the word. On the lower right, there is a lotus flower that represents the presence of love and forgiveness. As humans, we seek these things to fulfill our life so in essence we are looking to become more like the flower. As the flower has some pointed edges, we are still willing to touch. Moving closer to the left, you start to see an outline of a person who is slowly being destroyed, little by little. The scattered pieces of this person starts to show as broken pieces of glass and become more appealing to know about. The hand is more willing to touch those edges without understanding why this person has scattered edges but is intrigued by the unknown. Even though we know that the edges of a flower are more delicate to the touch, there is a sense of finding out the unknown of the flower that is a person who has many edges that may be sharp to even cut.
